60hz vs 144hz vs 240hz
I was wondering if the difference of 144hz and 240hz has a huge gap in the human eyes like 60hz vs 144hz. I'm planning to buy 240hz, I just want to know if it's worth it for this type of game

From asking my friends who own 240hz monitor's the difference is there but not that big, personally I'd just wait for 360hz monitors

360hz monitors are just too much haha. Our eyes are used to 60hz

Yes the difference is there but thats on paper tbh . 144hz is good n enough for any faceit player . 240hz might boost ur mental confidence tho (and this helps sometimes) but for me , I would say to save momey n spend wisely . 144 hz is good enough.

There its a big difference from 60 to 144 but 144 to 244 its not a great difference but still a bit but the most difference its from 60 to 144+

From 60hz to 144hz is a huge difference. You never wanna go back anymore. 240hz is for sure much smoother than 144hz but 144hz is totally enough for today standards.

If your system can support a framerate of over 360 stable then it is worth it.

I have 120Hz, 144Hz and 240Hz monitors, you can tell the difference in each of them. If the prices of the 360Hz go down and CS:GO improves its fps (I hope source2 comes and fixes all this sht happening at the moment where I dropped from 500 stable fps to 360 fps) then it will be worth it.

If you go for anything less than 240Hz nowadays you are wasting your money, unless of course you are not playing CS:GO too much.

Also if you can achieve over 300 fps, G-Sync, Free-Sync etc. are useless and add lag, switch them off.

Lmao
1440p@144Hz > 1080p@240Hz

Are you talking about CS:GO or in general? Because for CS:GO this is a good way to kill your framerate and create a stupid setup to play with.

If on the other hand you are playing other games too and you are not interested in having the best performance for CS:GO then yes.

So if you want to make such statements and not sound like an idiot, give some context first.

I have 240

144 to 240 is not such a big difference, although it does feel a bit nicer. 144 is absolutely fine though. No one is really missing out by staying with 144

60hz to 144hz is big i recommend 144hz its smooth 240hz is faster than 240hz i havnt used one so i cant give my input but many esports events use 240hz

if you do buy a 144hz or 240hz make sure there is little to no ghosting

Basically here's what most high level players agree on:
Bottom level always get a 144hz monitor.
1ms response rate is what you aim for
IPS panels are preferred by 90% of people. TN panels tend to be cheaper though.

All pros play on 240hz monitors. Both at home and at tourneys. It's basically part of the kit now for them. On 64 tick though, it won't make the difference. 144hz will.

Also for 240 hz you need well above 240fps consistently. Any dips will cause significant screen tearing. So if you have a low end cpu then 144hz for sure. Also some good 144hz IPS monitors at 1ms RR are about 200$ cdn.

Imma state one fact , which works for my faceit lv10 friend . In dust 2 B door , if u r T side holding with awp .
On 60 hz , u hit 1/10 shots .
On 144 hz , u hit 5/10 shots.
On 240hz ,u hit 8/10 shots .
A veryyyyy slight advantage while quick peeking n thats it .
Even if it feels more fluid , u wouldn't be able to hit all those shots that u think u can . Ur reaction doesn't improve . Only display lag decreases by some mili seconds.
