I have 120Hz, 144Hz and 240Hz monitors, you can tell the difference in each of them. If the prices of the 360Hz go down and CS:GO improves its fps (I hope source2 comes and fixes all this sht happening at the moment where I dropped from 500 stable fps to 360 fps) then it will be worth it.
If you go for anything less than 240Hz nowadays you are wasting your money, unless of course you are not playing CS:GO too much.
Also if you can achieve over 300 fps, G-Sync, Free-Sync etc. are useless and add lag, switch them off.
Are you talking about CS:GO or in general? Because for CS:GO this is a good way to kill your framerate and create a stupid setup to play with.
If on the other hand you are playing other games too and you are not interested in having the best performance for CS:GO then yes.
So if you want to make such statements and not sound like an idiot, give some context first.
I have 240
144 to 240 is not such a big difference, although it does feel a bit nicer. 144 is absolutely fine though. No one is really missing out by staying with 144
Bottom level always get a 144hz monitor.
1ms response rate is what you aim for
IPS panels are preferred by 90% of people. TN panels tend to be cheaper though.
All pros play on 240hz monitors. Both at home and at tourneys. It's basically part of the kit now for them. On 64 tick though, it won't make the difference. 144hz will.
Also for 240 hz you need well above 240fps consistently. Any dips will cause significant screen tearing. So if you have a low end cpu then 144hz for sure. Also some good 144hz IPS monitors at 1ms RR are about 200$ cdn.

Ps. and dont forget a drinking bottle LTT store
On 60 hz , u hit 1/10 shots .
On 144 hz , u hit 5/10 shots.
On 240hz ,u hit 8/10 shots .
A veryyyyy slight advantage while quick peeking n thats it .
Even if it feels more fluid , u wouldn't be able to hit all those shots that u think u can . Ur reaction doesn't improve . Only display lag decreases by some mili seconds.
