This happened to my precious Sensei and is a known problem with where the cable goes into the front of the mouse. Any time that gets pulled on it weakens the connection until eventually inside where the wires should make contact, they don't completely ! so at any time the signal can drop past the threshhold for electricity to get across the microscopic gap that has formed due to weakness in the cable housing design

It takes things like picking up the mouse by the cable suddently or otherwise yanking on the cable but its a shame such a design flaw happened. Really hurt when I found out about i, I love the mouse that much I bought another one and I am uber careful with the cable :)

You can try to repair it apparently, best you can do is google about that I guess.. just trying to push it in without opening the mouse somewhat will not be enough.. never bothererd to look into how people say you can fix it but it might be a very practical solution (i sitll have the mouse tho in case it happens again i can try to repair twice!)

GL ! sorry to see this happen to someone else

ty , but why the hell my mouse doesnt dc when im playing csgo all the day :D idk how it works..
I love this mouse too but I will buy a sensei 310 I guess
btw ty for your reply and have a nice day man <3
Hmm interesting I'll talk to you later about it.

Try downloading latest version for install after then, uninstalling SS software, remove the mouse, reboot, then put the mouse in a different port and install fresh drivers

And pray ?GL I 'll be back later to talk on Steam
Just in case.. you can use keys like alt+f4 to reboot, or ctrl+esc for start.. can always use arrows, tab to move focus, enter or space to click.. can navigate pretty much anything with just a keyboard

If the mouse is in warranty rma the mouse and get a new one.
If it is not you can order a new cable on ebay if you can't afford that cut the wire and mend it
you can buy new mouse feet or take old feet off and re-use.

how do u mean reboot ? :D
That happened to me with my WoW mouse. It was cordless rechargable. When that mouse broke one day cause I dropped it by accident and teh main fire button broke off, I bought another exact one. Of course, I was hoping that the problem was with the actual mouse and that my new mouse would work fine. Nope, problem was still there.

I got a corded mouse now and I never saw that problem again.

reboot = restart computer

i added you i remember how it happened for me and it will be important to diagnose the problem

when it disconnects, is there a big LAG like your PC is gonna die and is going 1 fps suddenly jerky movement then boom and the steelseries app maybe says disconnected ? thats what happened for me

press "windows key" + R -> type devmgmt.msc -> press enter -> unfold USB -> rightclick on the USB hubs (best to do all of them) -> properties -> TAB "Power management" -> Uncheck the boxes for powersaving -> OK out.

This may be 6 years later - but this information reminded me that windows turns off ALL of my USB peripherals because it wants to whenever it wants to. thank you sir or madam!
