You don't want that 'cuz hard bots aren't a training experience. They will only teach you bad habits 'cuz they rush and they legit just have aim bot and will 180 lock on you.

Before you start a server you are given bot difficulty settings.

Suggest just playing normal comp games, they teach you alot more then bots will ever do.

In console "bot_difficulty 3" You can use 0-3, 3 is the hardest. But like others said, it's probably better to train against humans.

The 2019 answer to this year and a half old question is:

After you set the game to play with bots, you can change their difficulty on the top right corner of the screen.

The options are:

no bots: great for practicing grenades, learning maps you've never played before, learning mouse control and spray patterns on guns you're unfamiliar with.

Harmless: they never shoot/stab, but T side will try to plant the bomb.

Easy: the default setting, use this if it's your VERY first day playing the game to figure out how the buy menu works and other game mechanics. They'll teach you how the game works, but nothing about strategy at all.

Medium: They actually start showing some skill, but not much. Their reaction time for when they spot you is increased to that of a new player, but very little (if any strategy) Should really only be used if your getting slaughtered by hard bots.

Hard/expert: the sniper will actually camp and reacts to footsteps, reaction time increases, but still no real strategy, they rush to a bomb site and will protect it once it's planted, so it's not a horrible way to practice that part of the game, but STILL not the same as human play.

Playing with bots isn't a horrible way to figure out game mechanics, but you'll never learn strategies used by humans with them. Strategy is figured out by casual matchmaking and YouTube videos.

Just my humble opinion.
