I am having trouble with Apple Airpods.
As the title implies, I am having trouble with audio with my Airpods. As soon as I start CS:GO all audio output ceases and I cannot hear anything until CS:GO is closed. Is anyone else having a problem with this?

I have already looked for fixes but nothing has seemed to work for me. Any help is appreciated.

Lol 3 years later and people are still having the same problems. Go to audio then to audio output and try headphones or speakers. If you unplug the headphones or disconnect them then you will have to put the opposite one for it to reconnect audio to cs go.

For anyone who still has the same problem

you are using an apple product, expecting it to work.

you are an idiot.

m8, your paying 1000000$ every year for something worse quality then a non apple thing worth 10$ at most

you are *actually* an idiot for this.

i used to always buy wired headphones, they were like 35€ sennheiser´s
or 40€ sony´s and after 2 months of use, they would always fail..

one ear side would just stop playing sound..

eventually i bought some airpods, and its the best decision ever..
no more cable, that gets broken.. they charge fast.

yes they look expensive at first, but its actually cheaper to buy em once and have em for years, or buy cheap ones 5 times a year because they break.

Anyone who still has trouble using them, try to disable the mic (headset) of the AirPods by:

Windows 10: Sound Settings > on the right side click "Sound Control Panel" > open the tab "Recording" > then disable the device where beneath the title "Headset" the name of your AirPods is written.

Older Win: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Hover over "Sound" and click "Manage audio devices" > open the tab "Recording" > then disable the device where beneath the title "Headset" the name of your AirPods is written.

Worked for me :steamhappy:

This worked for me too! Best solution. Only need to get another external microphone, or use laptop's internal microphone.
