What do you think of the OPskins bots being trade banned?
Let's please not argue, and just talk about this and be constructive.

Trade bots being banned means skins being stuck, I don't really know what'll happen, but it's definitely MANY people losing their skins

I think many will cry after June 21 because it's a school holiday period and they are probably away.
Valve murdered CS:GO

Deserved. Breaking steam ToS and writing other skin sites to do the same is just scammy and fishy.

I can't really give 2 sh*ts about it.
Maybe now we'll have players who love the GAME, and not just the skins.

As a regular OPskins user i can only say: I do understand that valve wants to shut opskins down to get more people to use the community market and get more money from the trades there. However there are two points that, for me, make the market pretty unattractive: For one the filtersystem is absolute trash when compared to the opskins one, you have so litte search functions and to see rhings like wear % you have to inspect every skin on its own to see it, that's just stupid. The second part is the withdrawl of money, this is what made opskins so special. If you have a skin worth 2000 € you dont want that money on the dam steam wallet, you want it as "Money".
I just think with shutting down opskins more people will try to sell skins in a diffrent way, not on the market, thats just stupid.
Before shutting down opskins maybe give a good alternative because the steam market isn't one.

Skins were meant as nice cosmetics and Steam doesn't shut them down because they want to make more money. It's just opskins introducing express trading and calling other websites to do the same. OPskins has always been tolerated by Valve but they went too far with the trading restriciton bypass and now have to deal with the backlash.

Also i maybe shoud add one thing: Valve attacked 2 parts of opskins: The market itself and something they call "express trade". As you can guess i do not agree with the takedown of the market itself. However they express trade is kinda stupid as it provides the possibility of Gambling again since you can work around the 7 day trade lock on items from steam. Express trade seems good on paper but considering that valve implemented that ban to stop the gambling. Stopping this express trade system is a good idea indeed.

Yeahi forgot to add that. As you can see now, i do agree with that point, just forgot to mention it in the first post.

It's kinda funny how opskins tries to act as the victim now.

Yeah they totally wagged their ♥♥♥♥ and valves is the mandingo of the world.

They claim their business will survive, I don't know so much...

Its pretty depressing to be honest. I wasn't a huge opskins seller, but it gave me some spending money to use in the market and now, I don't have that spending money...

It was a ♥♥♥♥ move of opskins part, and it is a real world trajedy that we can't withdraw money from steam wallet funds.

Someone will/is already a replacement for cash outs, but will they ever be as trusted and community wide accepted? Probably not...

Back are the days of the super sketch PayPal and bitcoin transactions...
cant care less tbh
