How do I convince my parent to let me buy a knife?

Hello. I’ll try and keep it short.
I am 16 years old and I love csgo. I’m working 2 jobs at the moment and the ones from them is going nowhere. Ive been thinking about getting a knife for ages as I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love csgo I play it all the time and, I don’t wanna sound like a ♥♥♥♥ but I’m quite good.
I like the stiletto knife forest DDPAT (around £70, a cheap knife in proportion to the other csgo knifes).
However my parents still think I’m 5 years old and they look through all my bank statements and such and they question me on everything I spend. And they’re really strict and also very old which means they don’t understand anything about games.

So my question is how can I get them to let me buy myself a knife?

I just want to emphasise 3 things because I know people won’t read this properly and shout at me for being spoilt or some ♥♥♥♥:
1. I WORK 2 JOBS FOR MY MONEY. I work for my money. My money is mine. I don’t ask my parents for anything.
2. I AM NOT ASKING MY PARENTS TO BUY ME A KNIFE. I am trying to convince my parents to ALLOW me to buy MYSELF a knife.
3. I am 16 years old and I am an mge (although I don’t play like it and I think I’m about to rank up). I am not some salty silver that thinks skins=skills.

tell your parents that you have 2 jobs and by earning your own money you show them that you have sufficent responsebilety to control it too but i will just guess that you are from an family that has this "culture" where parents control their kids 24/7

Step 2: Buy your Knife Skin
Step 3: Make a Picture of it
Step 4: Show the Picture to your Parents
Step 5: Tell them the Knife is for Virtual Protection (Viruses etc...)

If you have to work two jobs at 16 can you really afford wasting money on a knife skin? Furthermore, the knife skins are bigger wastes of money than any other skin in the game. I mean how often do you actually get to knife someone and win? You have it out for maybe 8 seconds while you run to your destination off the initial start, then it never comes out again the rest of the round. At least buy a skin for an AWP or AK/M4 or something you'll be using a lot.

P.S. okay well maybe it comes out while running from A to B during a bomb plant, but aside from that.

What? I use my knife all the time when I'm moving in the game, what rank are you that you never pull out your knife? Also he said 70 Euro so he's obviously not NA

Tell your folks that you want to move out to be more independent. Tell them you are going to move in with a friend 50 miles away. They will offer you more independence at home. One condition will be that your hard earned money is yours to spend as you please.

Also, tell your parents that if they require you work 2 jobs while going to school at 16 years old, then they have no right to tell you what to do with said money, and if they don't want you buying the knife, then tell them that if they want to tell you what you can or cannot do, then you're dropping your jobs and focusing on school.

no i dont live in america and i dont work 2 jobs and barely afford to live... i work 2 jobs and i spend nothing.... my money is just stacking up. i dont work 2 jobs because i have to. i work 2 jobs because im off school for summer and decided to get a second job so i could use my time productively

i cant say that or be firm with them at all. They are from a much older generation when they had something called "Victorian Values" which (in short) means that they believe that because i'm their son they own me (that's why theyre so controlling e.g. checking my bank statements etc.) so if im firm with them at all they'll pretty much kick me out.

tell them youre buying food, take some money out every now and again until you have enough. im sure they would be okay with you buying food right?
