Logitech gaming software conflicting with csgo.
I have a g430 headset from logitech, in combination with the logitech software. Whenever I start up csgo everything with the headset is fine, but 5 or 10 seconds in CSGO changes the setting back to default device, which makes the audio come out of my speakers.

When I close the logitech gaming software, the headset stays enabled in csgo permanently.

Anyone else experience this issue?

Go to your windows sound settings and set your headset as the default device. (I'm pretty sure that this will work if it isn't set as default yet)

At first I had no sound at all in the menu, then I went to options and my game froze 😒

Weird thing is, without logitech software csgo works fine. All other programs run fine with the LT software, just not csgo

This. :1scoreSD:

If you don't know how to configure your Windows sound settings, google it.

This is how it's supposed to be. Wondering why it doesn't work tho, since I am also using a Logitech Headset (and also Mouse and keyboard) with the software running in the background. And my game settings also say OS Default Device. Try reinstalling the Logitech software and reconfiguring your headset through that.
Ill try that, thanks for your help 👍

Have you selected the correct recording device in the Steam voice settings as well? You can even self-test and adjust.
