I can't crouch, it's really buggy and I don't know why.

Recently (after the updates) my crouch has become super buggy, I'll try to crouch and sometimes it won't work, sometimes it works but on and off, I tried a keyboard test and it's absolutely fine. Does anybody have any ideas?

They implemented a mechanic to prevent crouch spam. And yeah, it feels odd

It's not just that
I'd send a clip but I can't.
It's like constantly toggling between on and off, even when I have my finger pressed down on ctrl

you could try to bind crouching to a different key and look if it works then.

Yes, there is probably a problem with the key which lets go of the contact at times, sending the impulse that you released the button when you didn't. You could activate 1-click crouch which basically means you click once for crouch, and are crouched until you click it again.

I tried that, and I can't use it. Also this is exclusive to csgo, I don't get this in any other games

Go to your Steam window, select and right click CSGO,select properties,go to the tab Local Files then hit VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE...

were you able to fix this issue BritScout? I seem to be having this recently too the exact same problem. Only happens in CSGO

This was 5 years ago so I don't really remember what I did, but I would suggest verifying the integrity of game files.
