I've reached my skill ceiling?
I really believe that all players have their own potential and skill cap/ceiling, and I think I hit mine at GN2-MG2 MM level. I tried 700+ hours on how I can improve by going on DM aim maps etc but no progress in terms of aim. What do you guys think? do you think there's a skill cap or can everyone reach a good level if they work hard enough.

You can work hard enough to be a pro. But you have to understand you have to look at it like a job and thats the problem no one really has the time for that stuff. Honestly just think about what you would rather do. Try to play cs at a pro level or become successful in the real world and spend time studying something extremely valuable. If you need advice on how to get better I can help you but think about it. To be the best at something you have to basically make it your life. Is it worth it?

Here's a small piece of advice so I don't waste your time. Small gem. Practicing/learning does not always have to be hitting up the gym/field(aka DM or aim maps) but it can be watching replays of games you have played and take notes of what you did wrong. It can be watching videos endlessly learning how pros pre aim or take over sites. It could simply be that your being overwhelmed of where the oponnents are because you don't have the best understanding of the game. Also at a high level they use flashes very tactically to counter or entry are you doing that? Do you know all the nade spots to work successfully as a team? Just a few things of many and almost infinite knowledge of playing at a top level. This is EVERYTHING in life. Peace.

Hmm.. I've never wanted become pro or anything like that just by being realistic and knowing my potential. I do play this game a lot but it will never be anything serious just a hobby I guess. I just want to become a bit better at aiming considering the amount of hours I've tried to become better.

One last thing heres something a pro has said : You need at least 3-5 thousand hours to be at the highest level.

Thanks for the advice. I reckon it's not worth fully investing my time into this game knowing I can use my time for something else in life in a productive manner.

There's definitely a hard cap limited by your talent. I certainly will never see above silver because my reaction speed is far too slow. I can't consistently head shot people within half a second of seeing them, and that's mandatory to go beyond ~silver III-IV.
