I've literally dipped from 60fps to an occasional 54fps and than when it get's really bad 30fps or lower, this should not be happening.

GTX 1080 Ti is clearly not fast enough then.
It is though, it exceeds recommended specs.

I have a GTX 1080Ti too OP. Nearly the same specs except for an i7-4790k (clocked at 4.4ghz) and 16GB DDR3 at 1833mhz. I also have the game on an SSD (Samsung 850 just like you).

I keep the FPS locked at 75 FPS and it does occasionally dip but only dips from 75 to 66 fps in some areas of the game. You have better specs than mine, so no way you should be getting as low as 30 FPS in some areas...especially when mine doesn't even get that low.

Do you lock your FPS? Also what resolution are you playing at? I was getting some weird FPS stutter (not exactly lag, but stutter) until I changed my resolution to 1920 x 1080 @ 144hz (since my monitor is a 144hz monitor). Weirdly enough the setting always resets, but it still somehow applies and eliminates the stutter.

Needless to say, the game is buggy asf, but you might want to try changing the resolution to whatever your monitor's refresh rate is.

Everything is set to max with Vsync and I set it to 60fps 1920x1080 even though my Monitor is only 59htz (Yup trash I know I worry the monitor may be to blame but I'm not tech-savvy so...) but there isn't a 59fps cap as an option just 60fps but even with Vsync enabled it shows 60fps on the steam fps counter.

For the most part the game runs fine but like occasionally I'll get 30fps or lower and I'll dip a few frames when I look at the "Gun Pop-Up's" because apparently the dumb f*cks at Gearbox thought it was a good idea to make everything 60fps or higher except the UI...

Like almost all the games I play has dips in FPS but not to this extent jesus...

Are you playing in borderless window or fullscreen? Switching the game to fullscreen made my FPS perfectly stable.

For me the game drops massively anytime there's elemental effects (specially fire), game goes from 30 to 10 fps (mind you I don't even know why the game doesn't run higher than 30fps, I run newer games better than this one).
To be honnest this remaster seems very poorly optimised, I run Vermintide 2 and Skyrim Special Edition better and not on low...

Turn "OFF" PCi Power control in Power Plan.

Play mine on a 2060 Super and the game after doing a main story quest will just go from 144 frames at 2k to less than 15. Also it won't let me sellect 144hz refresh. There is something very wrong with this game. I played through the entire game with the same setup back when I first got this game because I owned the original. It ran fine without any problems now I can't play it for a hour without it risking inducing motion sickness.

I used the All the Extraanles from "revolution Ace" and it seemed to clear up my Menu Lag.

hey bud sorry for reviving the dead thread... but I had a 1050TI that ran this. I figured out the problem... It was running on my integrated graphics card. Go into your nvidia control panel and tick the box that forces it to run on dedicated GPU and it should run decent on low atleast
