What are the best up-to-date mods?

I have the Warhammer mod, the mod that eliminates mercenaries (by the same author), an my own mod where I drastically reduced the number of spells and got rid of most of the OP spells (including every single global enchantment and full battlefield spells).

I like NatGen and MagicGen.

Both aren't normal mods, but programs that generate mods.
NatGen generates random nations.
MagicGen generates random spells.

Both aren't really necessary "balanced" but I usually enjoy figuring out how to use things like winged monkey samurai or cyclopse assasin.
Or the global that turns everyone preaching into an astral based creature.

There is also a Pokemon mod that I tried a few times.

As for getting the mods, I would suggest the dominionsmods forum:

That's rough, it's the most up to date community but all the big ones have at least a thread of dominionmods. Not sure they're all the very latest version but most certainly are.

Though it will not work with too big mods as some of the bigger mods basically take up all of the available space.

Balance Mod! It's solid, it's handy as hell, its creators are easy to approach and talk to, and they never stop working on it; they just released a new version (0.78 I think?), and there may even be one or two more updates before Dominions 6 comes out! Thanks for the reference! It doesn't work too well with an overhaul type of mod like Sombre's Warhammer mod though, right?
