Frost/Air dome blocks Akashic Knowledge?

Was playing a sp game, and threw up an air dome in a newly acquired province. A turn or few later I cast Akashic Knowledge on it to see all the new sites. The dome spell blocked it. Are dome spells supposed to be able to affect friendly spells? I don't recall seeing this issue before, could be I just haven't triggered it before.

Domes prevent all remote spells, whether they are offensive or friendly or even by the same caster. That is just how they have been coded. I guess there is probably some chance to get Illwinter to rework the domes to allow friendly spells to pass through, but I would not expect such changes before Dominions 6.

No, i think i like it that way, it reminds you that you should handle magic with care, as it could be an indifferent force without friend or foe, the same way you do in the real life laboratory.
