Reanimators Bless
Is it worth it? Does it work as intended (a.k.a is it really a 50% chance?). Have you use it? With what nation?I was thinking of using this with EA Lanka, since so much of their stuff is sacred, comanders, recruitable troops, blood summons, etc...

cheers!

From what I have noticed the effect is the same as with astral spell that convert enemy units to player side. It disrupt the enemy formation mostly.

It sounds like a nice idea in theory but I found a hard time using it effectively.

As of the patch last week, it is now correctly working at 50%.

Prior to last week, it was bugged and was closer to 30% (since around release I believe).

The reanimator bless works also with sacred mages, which can make it useful if you are casting a lot of spells which don´t affect undead, or the spell doesn´t cause much friendly fire due to it being single target spell.

However you still need at least some undead command to keep the reanimated dead stay in the field, so you may need to get the undead leadership bless if you don´t have undead leadership nationally.

That's a pretty big difference. I think I'll experiment with it again.

I'm using it in a MP game as lemuria. Its not bad especially with the patch, but I'd have rather picked up reforming flesh.

It has uses especially on mages or archers, but the price is just so high that I struggle to see when it would ever be worth it.

Thanks man, also, i've tried it on Ulm since they had sacred mages casting iron blizzard... i had visions of legions dying under iron blizzard only to rise again and turn on their friends. What ended up happening, is that almost as soon as the soulless spawned - they were ravaged by the dozens of projectiles which were already targetting that location.

It deserves special mention if you have sacred death mages in your nation (i.e: Lemuria, lanka, sauromatia, helhiem, LA agartha, Ashdod, Scelaria etc). Death evocations - clouds of death, shadow blast, dont damage undead -- clouds of death can be really fun - gradually turns their army undead who bolster your front life with chaff and attack their friends. And again because they dont damage undead, you dont have the friendly fire problem that a lot of mages can cause when 'summoning' souless with the reanimator bless. Still at the same cost as reforming flesh i'd rather have that, but when you are doing LP's sometimes its nice to get style points :D
