Bug: Where did the Helm of invisibility go?

When I pick the Titan of the Underworld as my pretender now (5.23), his helmet of invisibility vanishes from his inventory. Bug or flavor trolling?

Edit: So he has his helemet, when I start a new game now, but somehow one of my builds just doesn't have it, from the start, gone. Is this a common bug?

Are you playing with any mods?

Is the "other build" from a previous version of the game? Other players have said that, when loading a game from a previous version, some spells would disappear, but reappear the following turn (once the game processes the files from the current version of the game).

I had noticed this in 5.22 already (no mods installed). If you check his stats on the pretender selection screen, the helmet is there. If you then select him as your pretender and check his stats again on the pretender creation screen, the helmet is gone. Start the game, and the helmet is back!

Yeah, but in the mp game I'm in, the helemt is plain gone. Since turn1. Which was after 5.22 I think. It also doesn't show the helmet when you preview pretenders, with all other builds, new/old it shows the helmet, although it is gone in the pretender creation screen.
