How to view dormant/imprisoned pretender stats?
Is there a button on the interface or a keyboard shortcut to display your pretender's stats while he is dormant or imprisoned? Thanks!

Did you forget what attributes you gave them while in the Pretender Creation stage of the game? :D

There's no way to look at a unit's "Stat Card" in-game until they're actually present in the game world, but you can use the Dom 5 Data Inspector[larzm42.github.io] to view the stats of almost any unit in Dominions, including stock Pretender chassis. Pressing the "F4" key will display a list of all players' Pretenders, and click on a name will display their Epithets which can hint at their magic paths -- if a Prentender was named "Blah blah, the Plague-Bringer", for example, you'd have a strong indication that the Pretender was a Death-magic focused unit.

Yeah, silly me. I guess I'll just take a screen shot next time.

Thanks!

Hopefully I didn't sound mean-spirited - I've definitely done some hasty things in game myself, especially when starting out. I edited my original post to add that you *can* get some hints as to your Pretender's magic paths by looking through some of the game's other info screens. :)

You didn't sound mean spirited at all. I'm just being self-deprecating, especially because this isn't the first time I've had this issue. Thanks for the help!

You can look at your prophet to see all your bless effects and then total up the points. I've found myself doing that when I've got the same problem (which isn't wildly unusual with an imprisoned rainbow!).

Of course it doesn't help with paths you didn't take enough to earn a bless with, or if you've taken incarnate blesses (I basically don't on imprisoned pretenders) but it's something.

I guess it is one argument as to why making pretenders and saving them then loading them is sometimes a good idea even in single player.

I do find this irritating when subbing into a game sometimes. Going into a battle thinking "I wonder what my bless is. I guess I will find out."
