Say in description" Always blessed". And where this effect?

I haven't tried Mekone yet, but are you casting it on a sacred unit? The spell description says 'Polemarch' but it might work on any sacred. It's not going to give a non sacred unit a blessing, though.

You see the effect by right clicking the candelabra icon that usually means a sacred unit. When a unit is blessed the icon changes to a burning candelabra. Normally only prophets, or commanders with shrouds or bottles of holy water equipped will show as blessed out of combat.
Everyone else shows as sacred until they get the bless spell cast on them.

If you click on the candelabra icon you will then get a detail page showing the effects of the bless.

I just tried it and it looks it doesn't work as intended. The Polemarch receives the bonuses (+5 att, +5 def, +7 halt heretic, ...) but is not considered blessed unless you bless him explicitely during battle. May be fill this in as a bug.

i confirm it too. another thing which i throw in the room is this "expected to slay a pretender in a year" just fluff, as the slaying isnt limited in duration. the wording fits to the military society but its still a bit irritating when you play it the first time.
