Dead God - can rescue?

If my God has been dead, can i make him back alive? Thank you

Have the Priest Call for him/her/it.

Yeah, the call priest order on your priests will call them back, eventually. The more priest levels you have calling your god back (It counts all the holy levels calling), the faster they'll return. I believe it takes about 60 priest levels devoted to their return to call them back, but I'm not sure.

Also, take into account that resurrected god will lose one level in all magic paths.

The books says about 50 points of priest levels total, so 25 level 2 Priests for one turn or five of them for ten turns. And the god *may* lose one point in one school, and has a small chance to gain a point in astral or death.

Yea, that was true in dom 4, but it no longer is in dom 5. Instead, to be precise, one of the following will happen:
- Nothing
- One single path will lose one level; nature is the most likely
- The god will GAIN one level in either death, blood or astral
- One level of dominion strength will be lost (up to level 1, and without counting temples)

But the Dominion lost can be countered by building another five temples, if I understand it correctly.
