Are ladder points broken?

If you are talking about multiplayer ladder, then servers have specific point ranges.
Most common being 0-60K. If player is above 60K, he won't gain any points in that server.

We aren't aware of any issues with gaining LP in-game at the moment.

May we know what servers you've been playing on?

As there may be an element of the setup as some can only allow LP from >60K.

Yeah, at the end of matches I get like +0.00LP... and so does everyone else on the server.

You get LPs if you're placed above players with higher rank than yours at the end of race. If their rank is smaller you will get zero.

Hi JAGIELSKI, thanks for posting, I can confirm what sempiro says is correct.

You will only earn Ladder Points in the game if you beat other players in a match, who have a higher rank than yourself.

Generally, If you beat players who are ranked lower than yourself in a match, you will not gain any Ladder Points.

This all depends on what servers you choose to play on and what the general rank of those players are.

Hope this clears the ladder points scoring system up a little.

Hello Amaroq, thanks for posting this screenshot. Are you using any OpenPlanet mods or similar for the game's interface or records (Alternate scoretable)? Because we can't guarantee the accuracy if mods are used for recording track times and ladder points.

I posted a screenshot of this being broken, but then the developer deleted it. I'm going to try posting it again.

Take a look at the person in first place. Their rank is significantly higher than anybody else's in the server, and yet they got a lot of ladder points.

Take a look at the person in 3rd place. They also did not beat anybody higher rank than them, and yet they got ladder points.

In one screenshot, there are two counter examples of "you will only earn ladder points in the game if you beat other players in a math, who have a higher rank than yourself."

I'm not sure why this got deleted as "naming and shaming", but hopefully now that I've reworded it, nobody will make that mistake again. I sincerely hope that merely pointing out an example of ladder points not working as intended is not "naming and shaming."

No, I am not using any mods. I didn't know there even were mods for this game.

I don't know if this still needs an update but I'm pretty sure the points you get are based on the Dedima rankings and not just the players in the lobby. Hope this helps.

No way. Nadeo didn't create dedimania and servers don't even have it without external plugins

Ladder points issue

Hello, i've seen that by many days we can't earn more points.
I upload a screen for evidence but we tried many times in different servers and times. All players except 1 or 2 can gain points.
