Funny, just looked into VHS Simulations Shaders an hour ago and now this/ I like the direction, could use a bit more analog feel and chiller vapor-wave mode in places.

Holy Jumpscare. I like the demo and I would very much like to have a ♥♥♥♥♥ version with no projectiles. Please.

The level with the three black cats and disappearing passage at the bottom seam broken once the passage has permanently diappeared.

Thank you for your feedback, Raketenziesel!
That link will come in handy for sure.
Also, that level with three black cats CAN BE BEATEN. Just explore it a little more :)

Mouse sensitivity between levels is SO sensitive, no matter what I have it set as in game. ( I even tried adjusting my mouse outside of game, doesn't help)

balance - the difficulty of the levels needs to be progressive, too many times I play, and the first or 2nd level is one that really should be on the last 3 levels.
Namely, one that is so easy you can do it blindoflded, should be at the beginning.
The levels need balance for where they are in a run.

The mouse sensitivty feels off no matter how I set it in game. And placing the cat down to re-positiion my hnand isn't working 100% of the time, There have been times I click the cat again, only to have it NOT release, and as I go to move my hand, it goes careening into a wall.

I know it's a demo, I just wanted to bring these issues to light asap.

TemmieNeko, thank you a lot, your feedback is very helpful! We're still working on a game balance but we will do our best to make it flawless. Controls are still in progress so they will probably be better than now.

If you encounter some more issues while playing PUSS! please let us know about them.

a suggestion, map a keyboard key to release cat from mouse grip, and a keyboard key to advance inbetween levels, like enter to advance after level stats and map screen, and maybe space bar, or even remap the mouse left to be the advance button/enter/ok and make RMB the pickup/release button on the mouse, so ppl dont accidentally hit it ( right mouse button being less frequently used )

you can simply walk through the walls and cheat the entire level

Really glad you guys followed me on twitter, allowing me to find out about this game. I love cats and love flash games, I actually made a similar game myself once in Flash class. Though mine was controlled using the arrow keys, didn't have fancy graphics and most importantly, zero cats.

Did/would you guys consider a wasd/arrow key movement option?

Anyway, I really enjoyed it and look forward to the full game. Until then I'll work on beating that brutal beastie at the end (best I've done is 1/2 HP, top score: 5702).

Would really like have some alternate options besides ranked true hardcore mode too, like no projectiles or set mouse senitivity with mouse wheel ingame. Or enable tracing with pointer, if not held down. Found myself cycling through my mouse resolutions with dedicate mouse botton more than once already.

The levels became quite easy to me after learning and memorizing the patterns in an hour or so, which is quite the rewarding experience. Yet bullet hell skills take significatly longer to acquire, if you don't have them already, so I find myself in a similiar situation as @Cabbch

Thank you for playing PUSS!. We're planning to include keyboard/gamepad controls and I hope we can do it prior to release.

Actually you've got nice results! Keep on punching that infernal doggo!

We are still working on balancing all the levels and bosses so we'll maybe change some things a little. For now, the best way to beat the boss is getting as much lives as you can before facing the last level.

Your idea of tweaking sensivity with a mouse wheel is brilliant! We'll add it for sure!
