Slight discrepancy between the story and party member skillsets? *Minor spoilers*
During the scene where several party members attempt to fire the Earth Dome's cannons, Throg and Sandra are able to ignite their posts despite how neither can cast Fire 1. According to Xero in the beginning of the game, all five magic users need to be able to cast Fire 2, though Slash can make up for weaker fire casters.

Oh yeah, you're right. Throg/Sandra can cast fire but they're not even at level 1 strength. Looks like Xero is wrong and you just need to be able to cast any level of Fire. Of course as we see with Slash the level of connection to the Inferno Prism affects the power of the Dome shot. That's why he's able to shoot with just Enda helping earlier (her using Fire 1).

I'll remove Xero's text specifically calling out Fire 2.

Kind of unrelated -- I think I'll add Fire 2 and 3 onto Asera's spell list. He tends to run out of things to spend PP on pretty early and as the main magic attacker he should really have more than just ice.
Can you think of any problems/abuses of that? I don't think it will affect any battles too much.

A water device would be nice, too, as this is the only element that is missing for my recommended party against (Final) Tenjin. All other elements can be covered with character shards.

I would have him at least a weak connection to all elements allowing him to use the basic spells. Then the other elements won't be overpowered. But his only strong connection should be ice.

I want to play around with more enemy movement type skills, like something that pulls enemies into a straight line for Minus Wave, Prana, or Cannon to hit all at once. I could make a water damage device to do something like that.
