BTW, you might want to mention that DX12 is required on the store page's minimum and recommended specs. If people see that they won't even bother asking this question.
Good idea, though the store page does say minimum OS is Windows 10 so hopefully that does the trick.
However, because there are still many games that say "Windows 10 required" yet still work on DX11, it leads to some people asking the same question I did. If the developers list that DX12 is required on the specs, that will stop people from even asking (unless they're particularly unobservant, which unfortunately, is an all too common situation) and save the developers some effort in responding to people.
And yes, they don't HAVE to respond; however, it's in their best interest to respond as it facilitates good developer/consumer relations.
But yeah, it's up to them whether or not they add "DX12 required" on the specs. I'm just offering a suggestion to them and they can take it or leave it.
I asked if the game works on DX11. Since the answer is "no," I suggested to the developer that it might be a good idea to note that the game requires DX12 on the store page to prevent future similar questions.
How you could possibly view that as "asking for support" is beyond me and really requires some astounding mental gymnastics (especially since none of this is your business in the first place).
