880813 seems to be an easter egg, and the number apparently appeared in the tutorial for the mobile version: https://i.imgur.com/SJG5r0y.png
201553 refers to 3rd May 2015, the date when development of the game started.
Also, there's a blog post on the developer's twitter account that spoils the number: https://twitter.com/yyuta342/status/1088096525543063552
I want to know too how to get 85#214.
I did notice that the isBonfireBlue flag was set to false even though I made multiple blue bonfires. I don't know if that actually matters but it's the only flag still set to false on my save file with all 11 endings.
The Sign in the Eyes, Factory or Illegal worlds changes with the glitch level. You can see that because it returns to its original state when you end the call, which resets the glitch level before returning to the Core. For specific glitch levels, the following symbols appear on the Sign:
0: do not enter!
1: "No" sign
2: Eurasian mandatory action symbol, with a dark interior
3+: spiral
"Do not enter" could mean that we are not allowed to enter a specific room at glitch level 0, and instead we have to enter an adjacent world, and wait until glitch level 1 before going to the world of interest.
The "No" sign probably means we aren't allowed to take action before glitch level 2. Not sure if this includes movement, or opening a menu to preselect an item.
During glitch level 2, we have to do something. The dark interior could refer to Henzel trying to suck us in, or to a Blue Crystal.
The spiral for glitch level 3+ could refer to a Lollipop, or simply mean something "strange" will happen (the screen distortion also gets pretty heavy at this glitch level).
It's also interesting that Henzel is the Japanese way of spelling Hänsel from the German fairy tale. Hänsel likes confectionery, so I tried the following:
- I entered 900000
- at glitch level 1, I moved to the world to the right (Underground, with Henzel)
- at glitch level 2, I moved to Henzel s.th. the gravitational pull animation started
- at glitch level 3, I tried to offer him a Lollipop (didn't work)
Maybe the idea is sound, but I messed up somewhere. Or maybe we need a better Lollipop, which could potentially be made by using the Melty/Na,Nu + Blue Crystal glitch, or by using the Blue Crystal on a Bonfire before creating the Lollipop. Or maybe the pollen from Lily can be used somehow to make honey.
Maybe a fresh restart is important for some of those.
Okay, maybe I am massively overthinking things, and this is just a wild goose chase. But there might be a lot of things in the game that we still haven't figured out, yet.
This name refers to the 2channel meme nurupo - ga'![en.wiktionary.org] (notably refered to in the Steins;Gate visual novel). Nurupo refers to a null pointer exception, which might have some relevance.
Also, nurupo = ぬるぽ is only 3 characters long. So when using an input method for cellphones / pagers etc. that takes 2 digits per character, we could turn it into a 6-digit number.
IDK about the meaning of that specific number, but the promo art in that post there is how I ended up finding that number (85#214)
