Anyone know if there are any spoilers in Doom of Icewind Dale?
Bought IWD 1 in like 2003, but finally beat it in 2020. Lol you know how it is...

Anyway, I still haven't gotten around to IWD2. So I don't want to play this if it spoils anything in IWD2.

Icewind Dale One and Two have been completed story-wise in 1281 to 1312. Neverwinter Nights happens in 1372 so you're cool with the timeframe.

Doom of Incewind Dale happens roughly twenty years after the main campaign of Neverwinter Nights with the same character you made for the base one.

Maybe it will spoil something, but I'm not sure how contained the story is.

I played it and I didn't see any spoilers for anything other than the OC of NWN, but I might not have realized it was a spoiler for something else if there was one.

You've played through the whole module already? How did you like it? Did you run into any bugs?

Is it a high level campaign then where you start out near if not above epic level?

After Furiae and Moonsea, I'm gun-shy about any new premium modules. I'm definitely going to wait on this one.

Apparently your character is set to level 10 and your items are removed.

Is that confirmed? Because there's a character in the module that claims the events of the NWN Prelude were "just a few months ago". (And then a different character who has already returned from HotU...)

I found the information on the Beamdog Forum site. A huge post of all of the canon events in DND's Forgotten Realms. I can give you a link to it if you want. I haven't played this module yet, so I don't know what the npc's talk about.
