If you are where I think you are , you need to cleanse the corrupted pool to get the ancient stone that opens a door. That needs an artifcat you can find in the ancient dungeon. Golem key has me at a loss I am afraid but we play tomorrow so maybe one of my group will remember and be able to help. If so I will point them here.
Have fun :)
BTW
How is it solo starting at lvl 2? We are a party of 4 and it works ok. I would imagine solo tho would be quite difficult, no?
@Dark: Did you find a way to do good balancing depending on numbers of players?
Have fun :)
No, you have to place the Ancient Stone in the pool, its the only way to cleanse it,. you really didn't think we were going to let you keep that powerful healing artifact now did ya? :)
I'm pretty sure we went over this with the beholder chat, and in the game there should be a note or something that does explain this, I think from the paladin.
Hi Shia, yes, the more players there are. the more that the Encounter Triggers will spawn at you. but it is limited to. Usually we set them to around 2 to 4 or some to 6 and the size and level of the party will determine how many it spawns. and the CR levels it will spawn too.
but I am all eras if you guys think they encounters are to easy. please let me know, I like seeign when there are 3 to 4 players i na party and hearing what the difuculty is like.
Well, glad you found the Stone. Are you not finding the red potions of lore? I know there are plenty to be found... you use those to identify items that are above your level.
Also, I know there is a ring of lore in the game that you should have found by now too.
Use a potion, but make sure you have all the times in the same spot, then right click, identify each, but do this quickly, the lore potions don't last that long. I didn't set the time on those, this is built in.
Also, when I make my chars, ?I always put points into lore. always!!
The time limit can actually be circumvented in single player by pressing the Pause button. ;) Identifying items in your inventory works even when time stands still.
That's interesting, I never tried that, good to know!!!
You don't, its there as reference, or just for looks.
There is an alcove with a dagger resting on top of it. Place 4 daggers inside the alcove to complete this Special Quest.
