Really! where do you get that? i had to complete the whole act 2 Solo. Thankfully i was arcane archer in training so i had access to the bear and i found the leaf that gave my bear a power up. That and the vendor had a crossbow that allowed me the damage the stupid golems and only took time to finally win. I never remember anything called Stone to Flesh.
You don't need to fight the golem's either, maybe a couple if they are in your way but there's a better way to deal with them too.
REALLY! the Slaver guy wouldn't let me off the leash until the collar came off and he wouldn't take the collar off unless the 10 golems were dead. I only did SOU once and completely on my own so all this is news to me. I'm not trying to sound sarcastic it's just what happened. Things got easier once i got the shadow door to use as a healing room and one of the balls because i could just summon a shadow creature for extra support. I honestly never heard of any of that.
yes I got a holy fail which Dorna carried, i killed the evil necro spirit guy and went around all the map, then saw the medusa. i never remember any kinda Stone to flesh item. Or any item for the collar. So i had to help the slaver guy that allowed me to do the control room's then killed the boss. Dorna stayed stoned for the whole experience. Again i was becoming a arcane archer so by the end i had my bear that got some kind of grass that gave him a nice power up, a pixie, and a shadow thing from one of the wind orbs. plus when i need to rest i left the room as my summons battled went in the shadow door where i was 100% safe rested and returned. I can't say having Dorna would have made is extra easy as i did complete module, honesty i thought she was there are a reminder that you couldn't save her.
Its been a while but there is a control wand for the golems in the ruins of the store that made them. Pretty sure there were a few notes around the place that pointed you in the right direction.
No right way or wrong way as long as you could finish, that was just your characters story.
still good to see there had been a way to save Dorna my dum ass missed. After all i liked her as a character although even remaining forever stone i think it was a good reminder seeing her with the undead slaying fail thinking this would been so much easier if she was here kept me thnking I'm on my own now.
But it's stuff like that makes me Amazed with Never Winter Night. To a point i kinda miss Liner games. yea open world is nice but there was something to be said about a game that gives/gave you everything you needed had you looked. Instead of just keep grinding method alot of open world games use today.
