Mods and Patches
Hello! I just bought the Enhanced Edition yesterday. I'm sorry if I am bringing up some questions that may or may not have been answered in other discussions, but I always have difficulty finding old threads discussing such matters.

I have the Diamond Edition still installed, and I use the CPP v1.71 (Community Patch Project). My questions are this; Is the CPP available for the Enhanced Edition? If so, is it on the workshop, or nwvault? I read that modders have integrated certain content in association with the EE developers, but it is unclear what content has been integrated.

Also, I am confused about the CEP (Community Expansion Pack) .. The workshop has two options available, with one redirecting to one that is version 2.71, while nwvault has a version of 3.1.x (I forget the last number).. Which is preferred for multiplayer servers? Is there a major difference between the two versions, or is it primarily for the toolset?

I am also interested in AI improvements (I use[d] Tony_K's AI in the Diamond Edition). Are there any available for EE? I have found it difficult sifting through all the different pages and sites with different versions of scripts without any streamlining or seemingly straight-forward information. It's just so confusing.

Thank you all in advance for any assistance you provide. God Bless

Thanks. It's been very confusing sifting through all the different versions. NWvault needs a better organizational structure, or something.

Any information regarding AI improvement scripts?

Thank you! I really appreciate the welcome! I have yet to get into the multiplayer. I didn't get into it much while playing Diamond edition, even before the master servers were shut down. I am excited to try it out. I have turned a couple friends onto this, so I will still be getting into the campaigns, which is why I am still interested in any AI improvements available for EE. I hope to see you around some time!

Thank you again for the warm welcome! God Bless

Be careful if you play other modules other than the main bioware stuff with the AI mod, the scripting can break player-made modules like Cult of the Reptile God and others (I couldn't interact with a major plot character and was softlocked until I uninstalled it for example).

Plus with the "Wandering Monsters" option enabled, the monsters might wander into NPCs and kill them (such as the Helmite priest and the two guards near the militia HQ in the Peninsula district), for that reason I would recommend checking out the vault and using the exe from there to install which bits you want (for example I turn off wandering monsters, make sure they got the basic monster AI installed, give the monsters potions, allow the monsters to use stealth).

Its a great mod and I recommend it, but yea just be aware that it could break things.

Good information and context. Thank you very much, I will definitely heed this. I spoke to Jasperre in the Discord, and I may just wait for his overhaul.

FYI the AI mod is still being developed and most recent versions are constantly updated and shared on discord. You can also provide new ideas and features as well as bugs in the discord room
