You can try temporarily moving your Neverwinter Nights folder in your My Documents out and running the game again. Just move it to your desktop for the time being. It'll remake a new NWN folder when the game runs and if that works then most likely one of your old files is causing a problem. If that doesn't work maybe it could be some video driver issue. Make sure everything's up to date (game and graphics drivers)

I never had neverwinter nights games on this windows 7 before the only computer I played neveerwinter 1 and 2 on was my windows 10 and that win 10 died I am guessing this don't matter or could it be issue with my video card? AMD Sempron processor LE-1300 23Mhz, 1 core yes most newr games require dual core my windows 7 is crap this could be the issue?

I'd guess so? I'm not too sure what the compatibility range is but that sounds *very* outdated. Generally NWN isn't a graphics-demanding game but the Enhanced Edition was released in 2018 and your PC sounds like it's from 2009 or something. Maybe their "modern updates" made playing on older machines obsolete. A black screen with audio is usually a sign of a video/graphics problem.
