Anybody can confirm that double-sided weapons still count as dual-wielded?
I'm rolling a silly build that uses two-bladed sword, went first level rogue then ranger with intention of getting the ambidexterity/two weapon feats without having dexterity for them. Only that i'm not sure if it still counts as dual-wielding in Enhanced Edition because my character barely hits anything on level 6 D:

When I equip the weapon it says it's used as two-handed but maybe I shouldn't pay attention to this notification? I'm honestly not sure how to test this, would love some help!

it does count, i just whipped up a ranger to test it. with a ranger make sure you dont wear anything heavier than studded leather or you lose the effect ambi + 2 weapon feats

Since Ranger loses its dual wielding feats if its wearing heavier than light armor (so you need around a 14 dex anyway) and you only need a 15 dex for all the dual wielding feats, you're probably better off starting with a 15 dex and picking up the feats normally instead of taking Ranger levels.

If you want to check things out for yourself, you can enable combat debugging.
  • Hit tilde [`] to open the console, type "DebugMode 1" it's case sensitive.
  • Hit tilde and type "dm_enablecombatdebugging 1"
  • Hit tilde and type "DebugMode 0"
Repeat the commands but type "dm_enablecombatdebugging 0" to turn off the mode.

Thanks for checking! The idea was to save points on dex to put them into charisma for later Blackguard multiclass :) if I had points to put into both strength and dexterity I would definitely roll Fighter for weapon feats instead.

We'll see how that works, currently in Port Llast and had a hard time with some bosses (especially casters) in the first act. Both my defenses and hit chances are a bit weak. Rolling with Linu because I didn't want to cheese the game with Grimgnaw, who could probably beat the campaign by himself.
