Nintendo Switch update?

Just wanted to ask if the Switch version will ever be updated? Fired it up yesterday after not using it for over a year and no update was required. I realise this will always be a lesser version than the Pc edition. Full module support is out the question on Nintendo platform, the Switch is not a powerhouse so FPS issues my arise and the game simply wasn't designed for a contoller. The Switch version could be much better though.

Things that could be done so there's not so much dissimilarity between platforms would include the bug fixes for campaigns and expansions/dlc the other versions have had, the toon shader (which would help a lot on Switch's small screen), the option to buy the missing premium modules as dlc on the Nintendo store and the curated content now available for the other versions. Doom on Switch gets the exact same curated content as the other versions so I don't see why this couldn't of been added, all permissions must of been given, the modules checked for copyright material or content that would change the age rating already or they wouldn't be in the other versions.

Beamdog have done outstanding work on the PC edition and their continued support of this version is great. It would be really nice to see them show some love for the Nintendo version though, truth be told I payed twice as much for that, even if it did come with 2 extra premium modules over diamond edition (one of which WCoC, is still the broken un-updated version).

That's a shame but thanks for the reply anyway. The Infinity Engine ports were so good on Switch and the work so fantastically done on the PC NWN it built up my expectations I guess.
