Extra classes, and races

So I've seen some of the online servers have additional classes, and races enabled, built in... however they did it. Is that a workshop thing that can be added to like endless dungeons, or other variants of the game, or is that something those people rocked on their own?

Totally possible to do for local, single-player play. That's in fact how I started modding the game, making a drow race with proper spell resistance or even a vampire that you could rock a module with. The principles of creating haks which are distributed by online servers are all the same ones employed to create local-only overrides.

a few friends and I were looking to do endless, but wanted more variety. There's a lot already made, and I'm not used to looking for mods. I've certainly never modded before. I guess it seems a daunting task, lol

Check out the PRC mod. It has pretty much every class from DND 3.5e ported to it that is actually feasible to implement in NWN, aside from Artificer, and a huge collection of different races, with only a select few from 3.5e's official material not getting in (coughcoughBlackscaleLizardfolkcoughcough). It's also constantly updated, and there are oodles of modules that have been patched to allow usage of its features.

Are there other suggestions besides the PRC? It won't download for me from their discord, and their discord suggests not using the files from steam. As cool as it would be to have like 235 additional classes... it seems not to work for me.
