Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Toolset
Hello everybody, I just received the NWNW:EE to build, but when I search the directory there's only the game to play, no more. I need to know where are the toolset. The toolset is off to download? If is the case, how can I get the full directory, with toolset, haks, 2da, etc.

There's only the game to play and the icon of steam.
So ?

I need to reinstall?

Someone help this need to work for me to build my modules, thanks.

Go into your Library and select Neverwinter Nights, then right click and you can launch the toolset from there.

EDIT: It is label: Launch Game Editor (not toolset) but it's the same thing.

Man I have only the Neverwinter Nights icon, not the nwtoolset and the rest of it.

Open up Steam. Go into your Library Tab in Steam. From there selection Neverwinter Nights and Right click the game. You should see the option appear in a new box.

If you are on a Mac, there is no toolset.
Ok, it worked fine. But now I have another question. How I can get my former modules to work on the NWN: EE and haks? I have a dozen modules with haks, etc but in the folder of my other NWN games. How I add them to the NWN: EE toolset?

Simply move them from your NWN install, to your ~User/Documents/Neverwinter Nights/modules and your haks to /haks, etc.

I'm running Steam on linux. All I see when I right click the game is

Manage
Properties

Is there any way to launch the toolset on Linux?

The toolset is windows exclusive (for now). You can use WINE or Proton to run nwtoolset.exe in linux. It's under <nwn_ee_install_path>/bin/win32/nwtoolset.exe

When or whether the toolset will be ported to other OSes is not known yet.

Seems it is borked these days, getting abnormal termination from within the steam client. So some Steam related script isn't running right.

It is now April 2022. I just purchased the full NWN:EE from Steam and I can not find the Aurora toolset for building modules? How do I get this. It is not available in the Steam Library by right-clicking on the game name (the context menu lacks any Game Editor or Toolset reference). I am on WIndows 10. Did something happen to it. Should I have purchased the game from Beamdog instead of Steam? Can I get my money back if the toolset is not available through Steam?

What happens if you start the game in Steam? Normally a small Steam window should pop up and allow you to choose between running NWN and running the Aurora toolset.

I found it - finally - in the current Steam NWN:EE, run Steam, go to the Library, right click on the name of the Game and select Manage, then Browse local files. In the 'bin' folder, then win32 is the nwtoolset.exe. This is the full path on my computer:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Neverwinter Nights\bin\win32\

You could check the frontpage of Neverwinter Vault[neverwintervault.org] for recently released modules. I know, for example, that this author would be grateful for feedback on his latest module, To Us Unseen[neverwintervault.org].
