Okay, after spending more than 6 hours to find the appropriate solution I get it working somehow.
There's two possible issues at play - faulty OneDrive installation/deinstallation and leftover Windows Registry keys from previous installations. Both of them supported by the fairly recent forum post where person claimed to fix this exact same issue by installing fresh copy of Windows.
What I did:
- Uninstalled OneDrive. Launched regedit, located [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders] section and fixed appropriate links to my Documents, Pictures and Desktop folders, deleting respective OneDrive subfolders from the path (e.g. changing %USERPROFILE%\OneDrive\Documents to %USERPROFILE%\Documents)
- Deleted every single registry key containing "Neverwinter".
- Restarted my PC
This fixed my issue.
