Wotc and Hasbro have close all the old game license BG:EE, BG2:EE, IcewindDale:EE, NWN:EE, NWN2 etc to get more money and push new D&D versions system and games. So now, no more staff to our beloved old games, no more patch or DLC from Beamdogs and other developers :(

Bad reviews from users complete the job ... see the SoD story ... i'm the first who would like to see more Premium module from NWN:EE, patch or new DLC from BG:EE and BG2:EE or a remaster of NWN2 but now is impossible.

also ppl post here info about preview build, i never see it, but if even part true it can be perfect final patch at the end

The best I can offer at this point is patreon members of the community to keep quality coming. The Blades of Netheril is not a dlc but a free premium module by Luke Scull(who has a patreon) and if you wish to support great nwn ee modules like this then patreon is the best support in nwn ee current form. There are others in the community that are working on module behind the scene and there are also artist/community members working on updated/new model, systems etc...

That has nothing to do with anything. No one is developing this game anymore. Basically this topic is equivalent to making a wish when you blow out birthday candles, it isn't going to happen.

people asking update to EE version of game that released in 2018 and still have many issues, espishely with QoL moments

Nothing else in the industry compares to this game, so yes many of us would like to see continued development in some form

exept that this look very cool, i m not sure its practical, also open way to many class exploits cos PRC dont give XP penalty for multiclassing

Good thing you can set how many classes you allow on a server to server basis then, but like this is what D&D always was open to.

yea, with PRC modding this can be breath of fresh air for old char builds, haha

Dear god. A Fighter 11 / Weaponmaster 7 / Bard 1 / RDD 10 / Pale Master 10 / Monk 1? Yeah, I see no issues with allowing more classes.

But its more likely this change will be server-optional like the ability to add new races to the character creation list (infinitely useful, but no one seems to use it). And the only servers surviving nowadays are roleplay servers, so this is a dead-in-the-water change. Why do it?

I love NWN, but every time I see new patch notes and future plans, it just leaves me sad knowing that the diverse gaming environment that can take advantage of it all is long gone.
