so yeah its good but you have to decide wether to skip on fighting and other traits in order to skill your crafting higher or wether you wanna fight for your gear.
Crafting is usually done by alts dedicated to crafting - they are good for moneygain in your modules... for singleplayer.. ye you can do some points into it
Unless you got a mod like CNR. Crafting in that thing is pretty good though a bit tedious.
The only place that crafting can actually be usefull is on a Persistent World where they have implemented their own system that takes advantage of the ability to craft. This was the purpose of the crafting system being included in the first place. NWN, as a whole, was designed to be a community driven game with community created content.
That's why so many folks who just play the OC (and expansions) scratch their heads at some of the available skills and wonder why they appear to have no use; because they were included to provide community content creators with tools to flush out....and they did. The OC is great, but if you want to experience why NWN became a classic you really need to play on a good PW. That's where it shines.
