Can we have Neverwinter Nights 2 Remaster?
First game is awesome and all, but the second is one of the best D&D games out there with moduling system that allowed to remake such games as Baldur's Gate. Despite GOG version being pretty much perfect even nowadays, but lack of official multiplayer, texture resolution, lack of UI scaling remind of its' age.

It's been asked a lot here before. But Beamdog is the wrong address for the question, they don't own any rights to NWN2 and were not involved in the original game either, contrary to NWN (some members of BD were previously working for Bioware, but NWN2 was made by Obsidian Entertainment).

Beamdog has also answered this question officially already, saying that there are no plans for a remaster on their part.

NWN2 is available from GOG, and that's the only source of the game AFAIK.

I think there are mods that sort out the scaling and menu issues. Watch AhTravesty on YT to find some great modules and excellent toolset tips.

I'd like to see a NWN Enhanced Edition or remaster or whatever. I actually liked Storms of Zehir, minus the buggy release.

To make a long story short, Obsidian developed NWN2, with aid from Bioware. Then Atari bought out Obsidian and EA bought out Bioware. If you add in the fact it's a licensed product from WotC, then that makes at least 5 different hands in the pot as to where NWN2 ends up and what price it's listed as, and if no agreement is made it's simply not listed there.

A small part of games being made but in some cases cause their own death. Money exchanging hands. Too many hands in the pot tends to breed no movement anywhere when no one can agree. Companies are going to have their own self-interests in mind. Sad truth.

GoG[www.gog.com] is the only store front you can find NWN2. It exists on Steam too you just cant buy it.

Your only other option is buying an unused steam key from someone. They're rare and probably not cheap at this point. They weren't when I last looked. Apparently not too many unused keys out there.

I too would love more improvements to both games. Partially because the editions beyond this don't seem to have as much freedom in character development. At least not from the games being made with those editions. 5th seems a bit better but is still perceived by me as limiting in some areas. Getting a bit off topic now.

Would love walkmesh and toolset improvements in case of NWN2. Nwn2 is a bit more open in some areas that 1 is not very open even now. The rules also change tho DnD 3rd Edition vs DnD 3.5.

Yeah i cant get back into this old game, wish it would be remastered. Like Blizzard did to Diablo II and they did a great job, only few things is lacking.

So i just keep this on the selves collecting dusts. Beside there alot of other roleplaying games going on out there. I did miss the good ol days back then when playing this, just cant crawl back in there again.
