Issues with Steam Mod not working
For some reason when I try to download items from steam they are not working when I lauch the game when in the past they worked just fine.

I DL'ed The Aielund Saga Enhanced Edition and Darkworld along with required addons off steam but they are not appearing when I go to play them. Even made sure I booted steams as a admin and restarted steam just incase that would help. When that didn't work I unsubbed and tried again - they are not appearing. Yet older files I've used: Combat Animations, CEP, etc those are working just fine.

Anyone have a clue to what the issue could be?

Hi there!

Out of curiosity, how are you launching the game? Running directly from the EXE? Via the steam window?

I right click steam and launch the game from the pop-up box.

I am having these issues, try doing this: Sub to your items you want, restart steam then load game from the library tab in steam. It seems to work for now.

If possible, could you provide a quick list of the modules you're subscribed to? I haven't been able to repro this locally yet, and would like to see if it might be module / content type specific

These are the new ones (* are modules):
Buff your Archer
Chronicles of Elnor*
Aielund Sage*
Early Winter tileset by Zwekules
Dark World*
Real Skies Lite

Old Stuff before the issue that still worked:
CRAP Adventure (Had to DL a few files from NWVault also)*
DungeonRunners v0.1b*
HD Remake – Tower Shields
HD Remove – Long Swords
Colorized Icon – Combined
Colorized Scroll Icons – Generations 2
Quality Fantasy Portrait Pack [275]
HD Remake – Great Axes
Project Reforged
Chat Extender (1600 wide)
Creature Override Compilation by Cervantes
Colorist Spell Icons – Generation 2
Colorized Spell Icons – Generation 1
CEP (Community Expansion Pack)
Issig_Kurairyu's – Hands for Phenos
Advanced Combat Aniations pack V4 – Override Edition

I have tried to launch from the library and only Chronicles of Elnor appears then. The other new adventues do not appear at all. Subbed and unsubbed one by one. I've relaunched steam a few times now - even having steam check the game install (just to be safe). I checked the steam workshop folders, the files are there. I *can* get them to appear if I copy the files from the steam workshop folders into the Document - Neverwinter Nights - Module folder.

That's frustrating, definitely not an ideal situation.

I'll follow up on this, thanks for the list!

I am not frustrated honestly. Bugs and troubles happen. It is not a ideal work around but it worked. I am more thankful for the aid and helpful advice.

If I can provide more information that is helpful to fix this - please ask.

Ive havent had anyone say my uploads on steam were not working.Maybe if you tried mine which seems to be flaw free you can test if that is actually your problem or not.I run a sever called bone seas outlook post. The haks are in steam workshop on page 5 if viewed from the most recent uploads.

I think i have 21 subscribers.

When you try to my game it will appear on the list as
In steam workshop Bone seas outlook post 1/50

Similar issues for me. I have issues where I subscribe to a mod one day, and it works fine, but suddenly stops working the following day. I un-sub and re-sub, sometimes it wokrs, sometimes it doesnt. Really frusturating.

As the issue continues: my only work around to date is to download, move the file(s) from the steam workshop folder to my document NWN: EE folders. Then modules will appear.

Just tried doing that, and it appears to be working for now. Thanks for the advice

Has this been followed up upon yet? I'm still having this issue aswell.

I raised a generic bug report 4 months ago:

https://support.baldursgate.com/issues/36975

Maybe Beamdog needs some more detailed examples like the one above?

Ideally one that can be reproduced?

I'm not clear whether the mods are simply not showing up in game, or whether the files have actually disappeared from the Steam folders?

At any rate, the "move to Documents" workaround works.
