The cause for me has been that I either added or removed area files (.are, .git, .gic) directly from the module folder (Neverwinter Nights\module\temp0, for example) when it was opened in the toolset. Then when it was next saved, the module's .ifo file wasn't updated to reflect the added/missing areas I had manually removed. While I could still open the module in the toolset, it was only be either editing the .ifo or by adding or removing the area(s) through the toolset could I load the module in the client.
The OP says nothing about hacking the module (which many others are playing without issue) so presumably they had a different problem, though it's hard to tell unless they respond to the various suggestions made above.
Not sure what hacking the module is so no but I ended up deleting all the files from ovr, reinstalling and it seems to have worked. So huzzah. Ill make sure to check your mods out as recompense for your time.
I found this post after searching for the same error of "module may be corrupt", although I am receiving it for A Dance with Rogues Part 2 when I try to start a new game with a pre-made character. When you say you reinstalled, are you only talking about reinstalling the mod, or completely reinstalling NWN:EE?
Also, if Proleric is still hanging around and monitoring threads they've participated in, do you have any other suggestions? I've tried deleting the files from ovr like oy Velsnuk above and removing/re-adding the mod file to the modules folder, but I'm still getting the corrupt error message. I really enjoyed playing ADWR Part 1 and would love to continue the adventure with Part 2 if I can get the module to load properly.
@Proleric I was able to finally get it to work! I had files in other game installation folders, which probably was causing the hang-up. After removing those files then realizing I needed ACAG106 instead of 107/108, I was able to load up ADWR Part 2 with my character from Part 1. Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate it! :)
