Also, journal entries are stagnant? As in, I see what my character observes and thinks via the combat log, but - while my journal notifies me that a journal entry has been updated - nothing new shows up for the updated journal entry.
That's just how the house is designed:) It's really two separate buildings (inn and stable) with an archway connecting them.
Regarding your journal, I have checked and it seems to be working. When Stedd Greystag gives you the "Journey to Silverhaven" quest, it appears in the quest journal (at least, it did for me). However, the quest completes the moment you enter Silverhaven, so while you'll get a note that says your journal has been updated, the quest has moved into the "completed" section of the journal and you'd have to look there to see it.
By the way, if you speak to the NPC right where you appear in Silverhaven - Miri Amblecrown - she will give you a new quest to do.
Yeah, I completed that quest: killed the kobold king and then got out. I mean, is it intentional that the journal gives update notifications throughout that quest but doesn't actually update the journal entry?
The journal entry did update in the end though with: "I am now recognised as a skilled adventurer,...Grimtag will sell me his finest wares."
Also, it's a great world so far. ^^
I'll take a look at the quest issue.
