CEP won't actually change anythng in the campaigns. It needs to be added when building and for the author to use its resources. It doesn't override the standard models, it adds more. However, if all you want to do is play around with your characters appearance and the models used for weapons, shields, armour etc then it is doable.

1 make a copy of the campaign you want to play (nvm folder) and paste it into your mod folder
2. change the file extension from .nvm to .mod
3. the toolset will open it now so you can add your haks (module properties, custom content tab). Follow the readme in CEP for the order in which to install the haks. Put the other two above the CEP haks (if you want the barbarian heads to take precedence).
4. Build the module (build tab)
5. Save
6. Go to neverwintervault and get Kamiryn's character customiser override
(You should also get ragnarok's alternate character animations but if you do , get the file intended to make both of these work together from Kamiryn's page. Follow his installation instructions)
7. Make your character (doesnt matter what s/he looks like).
8. In game, your craft menu now allows you to change the look of your character, items, portrait and set a particular animation.

Have fun :)
