Witch's Wake: that was it?
Sorry, I'm confused now. Did the module actually end in the mines? Was it never finished?

It's part 1 of a series that was unfortunately never continued. I believe Wizards of the Coast had decided at the time that they would only license official D&D products if they were set in the Forgotten Realms, which this module is not.

Even "Part 1" is a mighty generous description. It didn't really "end" like episodes do, it just kinda... stopped in the middle of a sentence. Damn sahme, too. It had such a great start.
But other premium Bioware modules aren't like that, right?

Yeah, everything else gets a proper ending.

There was a continuation, wasn't there? Not officially, but on the vault either for NWN or NWN2.

I don't think so. At least nobody brought it up in the forum thread attached to this request: https://trello.com/c/KfkDjq7W/3-finish-the-witchs-wake

And it's not the only premium module which is unfinished, ShadowGuard is basically a prologue to a campaign which never happened as well.
