"You’ll be able to join the following player-run campaigns as adventurers: Arelith and Ravenloft: Prisoners of the Mist."

Ugh, guess it is Eternal September for Arelith. R.I.P.

I mean how console players are able to type well in order to maintain RP?

Well, I think my pirate will go do some traveling from the Island :D

Thanks for the info, good to know there's a lot of development going on, and there's a detailed timeline of updates for each console.

Could you also share the timeline for rolling out the improvements on PC?

It would also be nice to see more details about the rebalancing.

Big congrats goes to the Amazon and Google PW 'monopoly' of NWN, and to the Beamdog 'government' for facilitating such a great deal for the coveted console gamers!!! It's great we've gone over a year without Favorites or a History waiting for this next mythical patch while the NWN multiplayer list was perpetually sorted by player count to keep those two all-important PWs at the top.

I know our keyboard-less console gamer friends will agree; who needs variety when you get to choose from 1 of 2 roleplay-enforced server options!

You are doing it wrong on Switch. On Switch A is default action and B is cancel. This is Nintendo way and those who use Nintendo will never want it any other way or to be "in line" with other console control schemes.

Also, where are improvements on PC? And what is this "rebalancing" someone already asked? Boss and mob nerfs? Melee buffs?

I doubt this huge effort on consoles while ignoring PC would be very profitable. The game was made for mouse and keyboard, gamepad makes the game very limited. Ignoring the main audience is very insulting and arrogant when the game was sold for them with the promises of future improvements, and many bought it to support the improvements in the future.

I love it how you invested all this dev on the backs of the steam users, with functions we don't even get. Using controller support for example. That is disgusting.

Rebalancing just refers to all the changes since the Diamond, already available on PC.

Hilarious stuff all round.

Here is our official reply regarding the PWs:

The persistent worlds of Arelith and Ravenloft: Prisoners of the Mist will be available for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One players as part of multiplayer support for Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition.

We’re pleased that there is an enthusiastic community willing to welcome adventurers from these new platforms into their campaigns. We’re interested in exploring the possibility of making further persistent worlds available to console players. Please note, the Nintendo Switch and XBox One versions of Neverwinter Nights are only compatible with persistent worlds that support NWSync, and have a total download size of under 4GB.

Roflmao if you just knew how enthusiastic some can be of this.

Have you ever played one one of these servers? It requires a lot of typing to interact with people on them. As you have chosen to not allow KB/Mouse support they are going to have a tough time typing out paragraphs with a controler.

I'm actually dumb founded even the Xbox isn't allowed that as all their titles are going to be cross platform (PC and XBOX will be able to play everything).

Yes, we played there. There is a software keyboard with predictive text available in the console version.

I bought a Nintendo Switch last week and I'd like to repurchase all of Beamdogs EE's to play it on this console. My question is, has NWN EE been updated since it's release on Switch? I'm unable to find any patch notes and the youtube reviews are all about NWN EE early launch experience.

There haven't been many patches to the console version.
