Dragon Disciple any good ???

Is it worth to pick this prestige class on lvl 5 of my sorcerer? I noticed he doesnt have spell progression so that sucks... Is his breath weapon at will?

Absolutely not on a "pure" caster build. RDD actually works much better on melee builds.

A common RDD build was 3 levels of sorc or bard just to get the class and lore prereq, then RDD 10 levels and fill out the rest with warrior levels.

Argh, not warrior. Fighter. Wrong game. :) But the advice still holds. 2 bard / 10 rdd / 28 fighter was super common back in the days.
