Scaling is resolution dependant - what resolution are you playing at?
1) Start the game once and quit.
2) In the file ~/.local/share/Neverwinter\ Nights/nwn.ini, under the section [Display Options] set FullScreenDesktopMode=1 and Borderless=1
Bit disappointing. I was lead to believe that they'd done loads of testing on Linux, but I'm using a fairly stock Ubuntu 16.04 release here. Not sure how this was overlooked.
[Edit: just saw masmddr's post. Will try that now]
[Edit: Nope, still not fullscreen, but those changes DO make the game's UI match its windows, so that's a bit of progress. Even if I change the Fullscreen option to 1, as soon as I start the game, it resets to 0. There's some Height and Width options, I'll mess around with, see if that helps].
Edit #2: no fullscreen yet, resolutions is set to window mode again automatically (and in nwn.ini file again)
Edit #3: after scaling to 2 got fullscreen, but now fonts are broken (it is connected with cyrillic fonts, so not a global bug) and focus is broken
By the way, I have old native version and it works fine fullscreen in any resolution
Seems to improve when scaling is turned off, but that means I'm playing in a quarter window...
BTW: Extremely happy that you've made this! I can wait for bugs to be fixed, keep up the good work!
I don't believe "Alt-Enter" for fullscreen has ever worked on Linux, and it certainly doesn't for me in NWN:EE.
I think it is about here, but more than 3 (!) months...
XFWM4 here works, others should have the same option somewhere.. Other WM's might have a different hotkey, or in many cases a hotkey can be set to fullscreen a window, or otherwise remove the border.. Alt-mousedrag also often drags windows from wherever the mouse is inside them. So that might be a nice way to just drag the titlebar offscreen if you can't find the WM's native fullscreen function.
