Stuck mounted on Paladin horse.

I was able to summon my horse as a Paladin at level 1 (I think?) and mounted it. Played the game for awhile mounted but for some reason I'm unable to dismount, my character can summon more horses and can't dismiss them.. Am I missing something?

Are you using it in the classic campaign? They were never meant for that, so trying to use them is not a good idea, all kind of things might happen. Other classes don't have such problems because they can't summon horses. Don't know ways to fix that, maybe a character editor.

Fun fact: a horse is in fact implemented as a "tail" of your character

Why do you need to dismount, i don't think it activates any penalties in classic campaign? Are you getting stuck in narrow passages? :D

You might be dismounted on level-up BTW. Or death, etc.

Yeah, small areas make it a pain to move around in. Leveling up, resting and even joining a friends game all have me mounted up. Haven't died yet, guess I'll go do that.

Well, since it's a "tail" - you can probably remove that using some character editor. At least if there are no actual riding effects applied to your character.

You basically have to kick your horse out of the party lol, as for dismounting you right click on your self, click on the left and it'll show abilities, then click on paladin abilities. it will then show mount abilities, click on individual dismount and click on yourself and you're good to go

So, dying didn't work, I revived mounted. The game doesn't count me as mounted, so I guess I'm a centaur now lol
