i guess i need to use some files from my oringal copy of nwn and use the Rar achive ? to install?
does the module updater work or do you need to add the PRC using the workshop?
Cause atm, without updates to the directory structure, that's the only way I can see the PRC working on NWN:EE outside of precompiled modules that use it. Either that or someone with more hex editing experience than the average person changes the PRC installer via hex editing to point to the correct directories, but that would require some significant coding expertise if the installer EXE isn't designed in some kind of simple scripting language.
Incidentally, when/if the premium modules are made editable like what Beamdog has said they'd like to do at some point, it would be @$@$ing awesome if the new races and classes become available for Infinite Dungeons at least. Of course that would first require the PRC to work on NWN:EE, which may take a long time for non-hacky support.
Also getting my friends to install this, yeah not gonna happen.
To be clear the only files that need to be moved from the original game are chitin.key(WHich goes into the main data folder on its own) The NWM Folder(That replaces the new NWM) and you need to copy the zip/rar file of 2DAs, as well as create a folder named portraits that contains portraits.2da.
Then you need to create a sub folder in data named data and copy over the textures.2da files into it as well. This will allow the character creator to work.(Assuming you're using Java CC)
You must also create a folder in the large data folder(not the subfolder) named localvault. The CC will put the BIC in there when you make a character, after it's in there move it into the localvault folder in your documents/Neverwinter nights.
That should be everything.
When you go to load any module modded by the PRC YOU MUST LET IT LOAD IN WINDOWED MODE OR IT WILL CRASH. Window your game from before you press "Select pre-made character" Until you are actually in game or you will crash.
It may appear to crash at first, ignore it and just let it load it will work.
i guess i am missing something as the java CC is being stubbon as Prc_skills are not found when i trying to create a PC any ideas?
