Arrow keys are fine for camera, though you can also use mouse for it if you want. It doesn't have to be a fast paced game thanks to combat rounds/pause so do whatever feels nice to you. Also if you are holding the mouse near your character, you will notice the arrow gets small. That's walking. If you move a bit farther out, it elongates, and you run. Clicking I think always runs.
You can dual-wield with a warrior just fine, but make sure you have decent dex if you want to go all out. I think 15 is required for the higher end dual wield feats? But using a single weapon will definitely work, too. Can go how you want - a 2 hander so your strength really smashes stuff, or a sword and shield for that bonus defense, or a single sword for style. You'll be able to get through the campaign regardless.
If you are on the original campaign, you can grab a mercenary really early to help you out. Linu the cleric will give you heals or you can grab the barbarian for even more killing power. They all can help, so no harm in taking one with you.
A lot of people think fighters are the easiest, and to some degree that is true. But honestly if you just go a single class most things are pretty easy. If you pick a wizard or sorcerer, picking the spells that have high damage numbers and areas (things like fireball, ice storm, missile storm) makes things pretty easy once you get a few levels - the barbarian merc can handle things pretty well himself. Tossing in a summon creature spell of the highest level you have adds another tank.
Figuring out the way to maximize damage potential, mixing the right classes at the right levels for bonuses, etc. can take more work or looking through guides, but you won't really ever need it. Just enjoy things the first time through and pick a class that sounds interesting to you!
