Dhanis the thug

I enter the prison with the key and I am attacked by Dhanis the thug. I have fought him forever and I cant kill him. I can hit him (which I have done manny many times) but he does not die. All other prisoners that I meet in the prison I can kill but not him. Any ideas???

Try using a henchmen or a different one. The half-orc one is pretty good at combat. Then if your character can use ranged, let the orc tank while you snipe it. Bring healing potions, in case your henchman needs healing if your char cant cast healing spells. You can drag a healing potion from inventory to the henchmen. You can also pause the game by hitting space if you want to think about strategy.

Another idea is to drink a potion to become stronger for the fight. Barkskin is a good choice. Or Bull's strength or speed.

If you are a caster then spell selection is important.
