Sub Race
I see the tab for Sub race but no skill modifiers . I really want to play a Drow but shouldn't they have different race mods than regular elves do?

The sub-race feature doesn't alter stats at all in NWN 1 - it's purely cosmetic in that it will show whatever text you enter there on the character screen. Perhaps this is something they will enhance, but as of yet I don't think there is any word on it.

Basically, its only real use at present is for PW's and modules that have specifically coded something for the text you enter - so via modding, something can be done there.

By 3.0 standards yes they should have different stats. They should also give you an level adjustment of +2 (meaning you won't hit lvl2 till you have the experience to be level 4). Though the game may not have that built into it. It's also possible they didn't want to penalize the player so just used elf reskined as "Drow". This was a pretty common thing DMs did in 3/3.5 when they didn't want a player having a LA race for whatever reason.

It was never Integrated Into the game as a whole though, right? It's a module specific feature.

Correct, that's my understanding.
