Where are mods located? Also, question about Toolkit.

So, I just purchased (against my better judgement) NWN: EE, telling myself it was a convieniance. However, I'm not trying to get CEP to work.

Previously what I did was put the hak and tlk files where they belonged and add what was needed to the NWN campaign modules. However that doesn't seem possible now.

The hak files are no where to be seen. Ditto for the tlk files, and the Toolkit is abscent as well.

Download from the vault ( neverwintervault.org/cep ) and put the files in Documents/Neverwinter Nights. You'll fin the had and tlk folders there just like you used to.

Then what is the workshop for? And what about the toolkit?

If you subscribed to a mod or CEP etc.. you can find the downloaded files in the workshop folder. Unfortunately the game doesn't recognise it.

That does help. Thanks. However do you know where the Toolkit is?

Should be able to just hit the subscribe button on the CEP in the Steam Workshop. That is all I had to do. I hope creators bring more content from the NN vault and upload it to Steam, having to manually download the files and move them to their proper folder is completely unecessary now that Steam Workshop can be used with NN.

The tyoolkit is in the folder where you have steam installed and

Steam\SteamApps\common\Neverwinter Nights\bin\win32

there are also the server and the player executables.

I was afraid someone would say that. It's not there. Did they update it? Can I just copy the one I have from GOG's Diamond edition there?

right click the game in your library and select "Launch Game Editor" to start the toolset.

The download doesn't include the toolkit it seems (the binaries are missing). I am, at this point, looking for a work around. For instance, putting nwtoolset.exe into the appropriate place and then running that (which works fine by the way).
